Ice cores

Ever wondered why everyone wants to go down to Antarctica? Besides the obvious draw of millions of squawking penguins, of course. Well, the incredibly thick ice that covers the Antarctic continent can tell us a story about what the Earth's climate used to be like. And it can tell a pretty detailed story. Watch the TED Talk below to learn more about this fascinating, painstaking process.

Hello, my name is Rafał and I am collecting flags from all over the world by site visitors tracker named Flacounter :)
It finds from where part of the world, which country are you visiting my site :)

I was wondering how is it on Antarctica, are you still living there?

If you can, please visit my profile on lastfm site http://www.lastfm.com/user/mohawk31 - flag of Antarctica is very very rare because of not many people living there.

Best redgards, Rafał
