Minke whale helps paddler raise funds for breast cancer research
From CBS, a video about a woman whose quest to raise money for breast cancer research by standup paddling from Catalina Island to the California coast was assisted by a whale who decided to tag along for a few hours. Does that whale sound like a "cockroach of the sea" to you? Last time I checked, cockroaches on land spread disease. They don't help raise money to treat it, nor do they provide friendly accompaniment for ocean paddlers.
